ThoughtWire has been mentioned as a Digital Twin vendor to watch in a recently released research report, *[Market Trends](https://blog.thoughtwire.com/the-evolution-of-building-management-systems): Software Providers Ramp Up to Serve the Emerging Digital Twin Market\**. We’re excited to be recognized in this report as a Representative Vendor in the applications category of Digital Twin vendors.

According to the report, “digital twins are a rapidly emerging and evolving part of enterprise digital business projects,” and further, “customers’ understanding of digital twin development, value or strategic implications remains emergent. But Gartner’s survey of enterprises implementing Internet of Things (IoT) projects indicates 75% of enterprises have implemented or plan to implement such projects, which points to a rapid experimentation and adoption trend.”

In this [research report Gartner](https://info.thoughtwire.com/gartner-mentions) analysts discuss the two types of digital twin vendor go-to market strategies: digital twin enabling technologies and digital twin portfolio pump example. Gartner clients can read the full research report [here](https://www.gartner.com/document/3957042).
